The Exquisite Rock and Rage of Chrissy Amplett
Written by and starring Sheridan Harbridge and co-created by Director Sarah Goodes and Musical Director Glenn Moorhouse, and produced by JACARANDA Productions. This show opened as part of the RISING Festival at UMAC in June and has toured to the Brisbane Festival. It will have a two-week season in January 2026 at Belvoir St Theatre and will tour to Geelong Arts Centre and Ballarat. Jacaranda plans to grow the show to a commercial capacity and tour it around the country.

Jacaranda Productions has secured the rights to adapt this Booker Prize-shortlisted novel for the stage. The novel was recently voted one of the top 10 novels for 2025 by The New York Times. The creative team includes Justine Clarke, who Sarah worked with on the hit production of JULIA, renowned photographer Tamara Dean, and sound designer and composer Byron Scullin.
COLTRANE
Award-winning XR studio New Canvas has partnered with Australian production house Jacaranda Productions on Coltrane, a five-part VR noir thriller that blurs the line between viewer and protagonist. Set in Hong Kong, this piece is an exciting new collaboration between VR and theatre and points the way forward in immersive, character-driven online experiences.
